Domus Civica has always been a place oriented towards hospitality,
ready to provide a safe haven for those living far from home. The simplicity and essentiality of today’s hostel reflect this spirit that we preserve in respect of its history. All our rooms feature frugal furnishings and a simple style, and most importantly, each one is different because the furniture comes from various donations from generous benefactors (if you would like to donate furniture and support us, contact us here). Cleanliness and order are always guaranteed. Nothing is missing, except the superfluous: here you will find only the essentials for your stay.

Our shared rooms are equipped with single or bunk beds and furnished with a wardrobe, bedside table, and a desk with a chair. The bathrooms are shared and cleaned daily by the staff, but each room is also equipped with a sink with a shelf and mirror.

In your room you will find everything clean and tidy. Clean blankets and sheets will be waiting for you on the bed so you can prepare it as you wish.
A change of linen must be requested (and is free of charge)
If you need a change, just ask our staff. Because it is better to do it when you really need it than every day unnecessarily.
We do not tidy the room every day.
In order to keep rates low and to ensure a civilised stay, we clean the room in the case of longer stays.
